We left Newport, Oregon this morning after 4 beautiful days. We returned to Redmond, Oregon via highway 20, the Over the River and Through the Woods Scenic Byway. At Sisters, Oregon, we changed to Highway 126 and continued on towards Redmond. The weather was sunny/fair with temps starting out at 61 degrees and reaching a hot 96 degrees upon arrival in Redmond.
We will be attending the FMCA’s 90th Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase which is being held at the Redmond Expo Center. Upon arrival to the Expo Center, we stopped at “Will Call” to retrieve our registration packet. Next, we waited in line to be escorted to our parking spot, Lot 11, 8th street. Lot 11 is a gravel parking lot with RV’s parked in neatly spaced rows. Since there is no electricity, water or seer, we are Dry Camping! Let’s see if we can make our water last through Saturday! There were many RV’s already in the lot when we arrived but they continue to arrive. This will be our home through August 16.
Rain, Lightning, and cooler temps moved into the area around 8PM.
