We left Bluff, UT around 10 AM, with our reservations on the books for the next few days.
It was another beautiful, clear blue sky day. The Utah landscape and scenery was so beautiful!

Continuing along US highway 191, we passed Wilson Arch. We have stopped there before, but I love the amazing sandstone arches! Wilson Arch is 46 feet tall with a span of 91 feet and is visible from the highway. It was an easy in and out for us. Surprisingly, we were the only tourists at the arch. I was quickly approached by an Navajo Indiana Woman selling jewelry. Yay! Last time we stopped at the arch, I passed up a good deal on jewelry. I didn’t make that mistake, again!

We drove through Moab, UT and to Green River, UT to check into the Shady Acres RV Park. The park was not our first choice, but we quickly learned that most places were completely booked through October. We plan to stay for 2 nights.

After checking-in, we traveled by jeep to the Arches National Park. Arches NP is home to over 2000 sandstone arches and a variety of other geological formations. We drove the 36 mile round-trip scenic drive, stopping at many locations along the way. We saw a variety of rock formations and several arches. We took one longer hike to view the Delicate Arch. No, we did not see all 2000 arches…that would take a day or two!
