Each year The Tiffin Motorhomes Allegro Club hosts 2-3 Rally’s in various locations across the country. Since this year was the 50th Anniversary of Tiffin Motorhomes, it was decided that in 2022 there would be only one Rally and it would be open to 600 coaches. A registration date was announced and the registration was done online. Since the Rally’s sell out very quickly, we had to be ready at the disgnated time. I was online and filled out the required forms and then received the dreaded message that the Rally was sold out. It was sold out in under 3 minutes!!! We were placed on the waiting list, but, notified on May 2 that we had been assigned a space. Hooray!
The Rally organizers did a fantastic job! There were Vendor Booths, RV Educational Seminars, Food Trucks, Ice Cream Socials, and four Tribute Band Concerts. There was also an Allegro Club Store where we purchased some 50th Anniversary apparel. Of course, there were new coaches on display and for sale. Do people really buy RV’s at a Rally? Yes…30+ coaches were sold! Three of the coaches sold were bought by folks on our row!
We met some nice people from all over the US and enjoyed exchanging travel stories, favorite places, and future travel plans.
Next year there will be three Rally’s; Hemet California, Amana Colonies Iowa, and somewhere in Vermont. I think we have our eye on Vermont!
