July 6-10, 2021
We left one the most extraordinary and unique landscapes in the world and began our journey towards Gillette, WY. We made an overnight stop in Hardin, MT before reaching Gillette.
Gillette WY was the location of The FMCA ( Family Motorcoach Association)103rd International Convention & RV Expo. The Covention/Rally was held at the CAM-PLEX… a fabulous event venue.
The Spirit of Wyoming was the rally theme. It was a fun celebration with nearly 1300 RVs in attendance… from teardrops to fifth-wheel trailers and mini MOHOs to monster MOHOs.
We had 4 days of informational seminars and received tips on Google Maps, Blogging, Photo editing, Photo organization, and RV Trips and Destinations. In addition, Ken attended several RV maintenance seminars.

This year the Motorhome Showcase was a DUD! Ken was very disappointed that there were no 2022 Coaches on display. Will we have to wait longer to buy a new coach?
FMCA always provides good entertainment at their rally’s. We attended a concert on Thursday night by Three Dog Night, The concert was good, but, the group is old and their voices were not as strong as we remember.
On Friday night we went to a rodeo! It was a youth rodeo and mostly girls! It was a fun evening watching all the different age groups compete in the events…barrell racing and tie down roping.
For our 5 night stay at the rally, we were fortunate to be parked next to a great couple from Kilgore, TX. We enjoyed 3 nights of cocktails and travel stories. We hope to catch up with them again during future travels.
