It was 11 AM, sunny, and 70 degrees when we drove out of Valley View RV Resort. We had a short driving day to Pocatello, so we left later than usual. We needed to manage our time so we wouldn’t arrive at our destination too early. It was nice to have a lazy morning!

We encountered a GPS error as we approached the RV park exit. GPS said to turn left, but, no left turn was allowed. We made a minor change to our route, allowing us to view even more of Layton, UT. The GPS finally worked it out!
We cruised on I-15 along the Wasatch Mountain Range, passing lots of beautiful farms and a few lakes in northern Utah. In the distance we could see snow capped mountain peaks and we know there will be plenty more as we continue north.

Our destination in Pocatello, ID, was the Cowboy RV Park…another familiar stop. We had a long pull thru RV site…the first site on the first row. As soon as we arrived, Ken struck up a conversation with our neighbor. They began talking about Starlink and it was at least 15 minutes before Ken broke away and got us connected to electricity. After setting up, we made a quick trip to Wal-mart to stock up on groceries. Back at the RV Park, we had another nice chat with our neighbor before going inside for the night. Talking with fellow RVers is always a highlight at each place we stop.
