This was our last day in Michigan. We drove to the small, nearby, town of Glen Arbor. We stopped at one of the popular spots in town, Arts Tavern. There was a long, long, line waiting to be seated for lunch. We put our name on the list and waited. We eventually got an inside table and enjoyed a casual lunch. The ceiling of the tavern is covered with pennants from colleges, states, etc. We spotted a University of AZ Wildcat Pennant close to our table!
After lunch, we quickly walked around the town and through some shops. We stopped at the Cherry Republic…all things Cherry! They even had a cherry pit spitting arena! We didn’t see anyone in the arena but the store was so crowded, we couldn’t really see much of anything!
Back at the RV, we spent a quiet afternoon relaxing and reading outside. The weather was beautiful!
