Today, we visited the Many Glacier region in the Northeast portion of Glacier National Park. It was a beautiful morning and lots of people were out in the sunshine enjoying the beautiful scenery. We were mesmerized by the scenic reflections!
We stopped at the Many Glacier Hotel, on the east shore of Swiftcurrent Lake. The hotel had a Swiss Chalet design and stretched along the lakeshore.

After leaving the Many Glacier area, we went back to the main part of the park to drive the Going To The Sun Road one more time.
The day started as a beautiful clear day, but by the time we reached some altitude, we encountered some amazing fog.

At Logan Pass, it looked like a winter day in Yellowstone. There were tourists everywhere but the fog was so thick it was hard to see much of the surroundings. We even saw people in ski attire carrying their skis!

After Logan Pass, we turned around and headed towards the entrance. We stopped to get one last view of the waterfalls.

After visiting both sides of Glacier National Park, I can definitely say that the East Glacier side is the best. It is one more National Park to check off our list!
Tomorrow we move east on highway 2 across the northern states!
