The first night out in the RV is always one of the roughest. Even though we have enjoyed this RV for 9 years, the first night is like it’s new all over again. After a restless night, we were ready to leave Flagstaff at 8:50 AM. Before leaving town, we made our first fuel stop. We only put in 35 gallons of diesel @ 5.799 for a total of $203.40. That wasn’t too shocking!
As we drove north trhough the reservation, we noticed that Fuel prices were very competitive. That was very different from past years!
It was a very long driving day (261 miles) ending in Cortez, Colorado. Our destination for the night was the Sundance RV Park. Hopefully, the long drive will help us sleep!
