Cherries BBQ Pit
Today was another cold, dreary day in Montana. We were getting a little tired of staying inside, so, we decided it was a good time to check out the local Cherries BBQ Pit. Cherries is basically a double wide trailer turned into a BBQ joint. They have a drive thru option, outdoor seating, and indoor seating. Since it was chilly and misting rain, we chose to sit inside. The dining area was small but it wasn’t too busy when we arrived.
Their meat was smoked with fruit wood (mostly local cherry wood). All the food was made fresh, sides were made from scratch, and they made seven in-house BBQ sauces.
Ken and I both ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich, Ribbon Fries, and Cole Slaw. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the portions were HUGE for the price.
