Departure 10:00 AM

Last night, the campground was quiet and Ken was able to sleep, but it was too quiet for me. I guess I like the semi truck noise!
Before returning to I-10 for the day, we drove through the small town of Junction to fuel up the RV. Junction is a ranching community in the Texas Hill Country river valley. The City derives its name from its location at the convergence of the North and South Llano rivers.

Continuing E on I-10, we drove through Katy, TX and Houston, TX. It must have been Friday rush hour because the freeway looked like a parking lot!
We ended our day’s drive in Baytown, TX and checked into the Houston E. RV Resort. Since we had reservations, check-in was quick and easy and we even received two bottles of cold water in koozi’s! We don’t usually get anything but the campground rules and receipt!
