We left Albuquerque in the mid morning and drove to Santa Fe. In was a beautiful morning, Sunny and 77 degrees. In Santa Fe we checked into the Santa Fe Skies RV Resort. We had hoped to stay for 2 nights, but could only get a spot for 1 night.
In Santa Fe, we visited The Plaza, where we saw many vendors sitting on the ground selling jewelry and other hand-made items. We toured the San Miguel Mission, and stopped by the Loretto Chapel. We took a drive up Canyon Road to see the galleries that are housed in Santa Fe adobe buildings.
After visiting all the sights that we were interested in, we returned to the RV Park. Our RV neighbors were from Nebraska and were experiencing their first RV trip. They were happy to talk with us and hear about our “camping experiences”, especially when traveling with kids. Of course, we gave them a few pointers!
Tomorrow – Taos, NM
