Starting a travel adventure in the Fall is something a little different for us. While we have certainly traveled in the fall, we are usually ending our trip…not beginning. Why would we wait until the AZ temps begin to cool off? We have 3 very good reasons. We stayed home for the summer to babysit for 2 precious granddaughters(Haley and Aubrey) and get our house ready for sale. With those tasks behind us, we are ready to be On The Road Again.
All packed and ready to go, we left home at 10:30 AM and began our drive towards Yellowstone National Park. We decided to drive north towards Utah. We were fully aware when we started out that RV Parks are very sparsely located along this route. We also found out that many RV folks are traveling at this time of the year. Without reservations secured in advance, we had some difficulty finding a place to stop for the night. We finally pulled into a RV Park in Bluff, UT around 7:30 PM. It was nothing too fancy, but it was clean, quiet, and available!
Even though it was a long traveling day, it was a beautiful day and we saw some amazing scenery.
