We traveled 880 miles on Interstate 10 through Texas driving from Anthony, at the border with New Mexico, through El Paso, San Antonio and Houston to the border with Louisiana in Orange, Texas. We experienced various types of terrain; desert, hills, rolling plains, to coastal swamps. Texas is the second most populous and second largest state of the USA. Finally, after 3 days of driving we made it through Texas!
We are still experiencing cold nighttime temperatures, but the daytime air is getting warmer as we continue driving east.
Tomorrow – Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle!
