We got a late start this morning…10:40 AM! I think that might be a record!
Our route was Highway 287 traveling on a bumpy road through flat farmlands and oil fields. We planned to stop in Wichita Falls but ended up driving to Bowie, TX. We stopped at the Campers Paradise RV Park east of Bowie. It was not exactly what we would call paradise but it was an okay place for an overnight stay. The Park was “quiet” (not many RVs) but it was on highway 28 and a bit noisy.
After dinner, we had a great view of a beautiful sunset…maybe a bit of paradise after all!
Tomorrow – McKinney, TX to pick up motors for our electric window shades. Hope it goes smoothly!
