Flagstaff to Albuquerque

Our first night on the road was very restless.  It always takes a couple of nights to get used to traveling but the wind made very difficult to get any sleep.

We packed up and were on the road by 8:30AM.  It was still very windy on Highway 40 through the Navajo/Hope Indian Reservation.  We passed by Winslow …no standing on the corner today!  We arrived at the Enchanted Trails RV Park in Albuquerque around 3:30 PM.

We always meet nice people while traveling, and today was no exception.  I met a couple from St. Louis who were on their way to Phoenix.  It is always fun to exchange stories and learn about the places others have traveled.

After dinner, we took a walk around the RV Park and were surprised to find several old campers and cars displayed throughout the park.  Very Cool!  I don’t think that Ken will be trading in our Bus for this small Winnebago!
